Depends entirely: on the cause of the ED. You really deserve to see a specialist (typically a urologist) or better yet a doctor who specializes in ED to completely evaluate the cause of the problem in you and treat it appropriately. Many new approaches are now being used, such as something called "shock wave therapy" which sounds sorta scary but actually can be pleasant, or so I understand!
