Puberty: Most males will have gone through puberty by age 18. In rare cases it can be delayed another year or two. If you are concerned, you should get an evaluation by an endocrinologist and he can run the necessary tests to see if there are any other problems that could be delaying puberty.

Find cause: Delayed puberty can be familial. It can also becaused by chronic illnesses, eating disorders, hormonal deficiencies and severe stress. Tests can be done to see if you have a pituitary disorder. Genetic testing may sometimes be needed.
