No risk, no worry: Herpes is not transmitted by shared clothing, towels, toilets, etc. You can find claims about catching it this way, but these are old wives' tales left over from decades ago, before the truth was known about sexual transmission and about the fact that a person can have the first known outbreak many years after being infected sexually.
