Test 2 weeks later: You should test 2 weeks after unprotected sex or when you miss your period. Symptoms of pregnancy start 2 to 3 months after intercourse if you are pregnant. Best wishes.

Wait for next period: A urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), 1 week after missing a period, or after starting a "weird" period. If done sooner (as in less than 2 weeks after sex), a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon, and thus lead to a repeat test. Having a normal period means NOT pregnant.
