A member asked:

I stopped taking birth control mid pack twoweeks ago, and still no period or bleeding. why? also today i saw little yellowish discharge from one nippl

A doctor has provided 1 answer

First things first: The most common reason for absent periods in sexually active women without contraceptive use is Voila! Pregnancy! First, do a pregnancy test and then, if negative, see a MD who can do a lab test called prolactin which can be the cause of the nipple discharge and absent menses when it is secreted in excess by the pituitary.
