I stopped my birth control before i was supposed to on april 1st, had sex april 2nd. i then had withdrawal bleeding april 3rd. it is now may 16 and still no period and negative pregnancy test. i have been cramping but no period. what is going on?

Menstrual delay: If your pregnancy test is negative, you're likely not pregnant. Some women can get pregnant immediately after stopping birth control pills, and others may take a few weeks or months to resume a regular menstrual cycle before becoming pregnant. Not having a period yet 6 weeks after stopping your birth control method may be normal, but if you are concerned or think you may be pregnant, see an OBGYN

Likely resetting: Not sure how early you stopped your pills but withdrawal bleeding shortly after makes pregnancy unlikely. If you have additional sex; use birth control and protection. Continue to monitor your menstrual status. All the best.
