Yes: Though many new mothers don't ovulate for a while there is no guarantee you didn't & won't get pregnant.Plan B is fine.Please discuss this with your partner and the OB.You will need some form of BC.

Yes and Yes: Yes you can get pregnant without contraception and yes, Plan B is needed. Consider contraception even if you are breastfeeding as ovulation is still incompletely suppressed and pregnancies can and do occur.
