No home remedies: Treatment is best by an experienced clinician, including curettage (scraping them off, less painful than it sounds), freezing, or imiquimod prescription (Aldara, Zyclara). After treatment you are still infectious for sex partners for a few weeks. You should avoid sex (even with condoms) with new or uninfected partners until you've gone at least a month with no new bumps.
