A member asked:

If i had unprotected sex on march 9 to 12 and never got my period on march 15th when i was supposed to, is it too early to take a pregnancy test?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Better at 3 weeks: A urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result if done 3 weeks after sex. Tests are inexpensive and sold in stores everywhere. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon... and cause a person to retest later.
