A member asked:

I have started what i think is withdrawal bleeding from stopping my birth control (apri) pill how long after will i ovulate?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

2 weeks: When stopping birth control pills with the last pill in the package, not anytime before, ovulation can be anticipated 2 weeks from stopping the pill. This calculation still comes with a significant margin of error. If pregnancy is desired, pregnancy tests a week apart from the day of the first anticipated period after stopping the pill will catch a pregnancy early. Else, condoms until next period
