A member asked:

I stopped using birth control 4 days ago. i started bleeding, and now 4 days after stopping i got a positive ovulation test result. is this accurate?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Likely yes: It is certainly possible to ovulate within days of stopping use of birth control. It doesn't usually happen that quickly, but can. I would believe the test and make sure you are aware of the possibility of pregnancy if you have sex.
