Urethritis treatment: Azithromycin causes almost no side effects other than stomach upset after a large dose -- and that usually clears up in 1-2 hours. Amoxicillin is a poor choice: it will not cure urethritis except when caused by gonorrhea, and often not then. If you're dead set against azithro, talk with your doctor about doxycycline (but that actually has more side effects). The probiotic will make no difference.
