Monogamous sex: is entirely safe...of course this presumes that both of you are monogamous and have always been so. If there is any question, follow safe sex/STD prevention practices for 6 months during which time you are both reliably monogamous. Then test for STDs/HIV. If negative, then entirely safe for you to have condom-free sex as long as you both remain monogamous. Hope this helps:)
