Once per day: All birth control pills need to be taken one time per day. If you do that then they work. Trying to take them about the same time of day is good to help create the habit and to reduce the risk of breakthrough bleeding. If you are having trouble taking birth control pills consider one of the more effective and easier options such as an IUD or Nexplanon
