No one is perfect: and neither are a woman's menstrual cycles. Occasional spotting between periods, early bleeding before expected period and late periods are quite common. Unless this happens repeatedly, you suspect pregnancy or if you have other symptoms like pelvic pain or vaginal discharge or itching, you shouldn't worry. Dr. Anne
