Wait: After a surgical procedure like "instrumentation of the uterus" it is prudent to wait with intercourse until symptoms have completely resolved to be sure that there is no increased risk of infection from the procedure in addition to a potential risk of infection from intercourse, particularly when without condom, in itself.
