May or may not: The CDC recommended regimen includes Azithromycin 1 g single those, doxycycline hundred milligrams twice a day for seven days, Erythromycin base 500 mg 4 times a day for seven days, levofloxacin 500 mg orally once daily for seven days, or Ofloxacin 300 mg twice a day for seven days. Clindamycin is not mentioned

Not recommended: Usually this is treated w either azithromycin or doxycyvline... Clinda can be considered as an alternate treatment in complicated infections as an IV INFUSION plus gentamicin IV
