Doesn't matter: You're asking the wrong question. It doesn't matter whether HPV survives away from the body, on clothing, on a surface, etc. Contact with these things never transmits the virus. Without sex or other direct skin-skin contact with an infected person, nobody ever gets HPV. So no need to worry about it.
