Can you get an std or bacterial infection from swallowing your own semen?

Maybe: A person might be able to transfer his infection from"downstairs" to "upstairs". Some people say that is not "getting" an STD, because the patient already has the germ somewhere in his body. Others say it is indeed "getting" an infection, because the patient is creating a new throat infection. It is an unlikely scenario, but one of the possible events in life.
