I have a pulled a muscle on my right back thigh.yesterday i began getting painful hive spots on my right butt cheek and lower back. are these related?

Picture would help: If the hive spots are small bubbles/blisters it is possible they are related. That history could be a herpes outbreak. The pain is nerve root mediated. If the pulled muscle and the hives are actual hives then i doubt they are related. Sorry, just hard without seeing it.
