I am 18 years old, and i was wondering if/when i should see a gyn. i have a few health issues, but most of them have been solved with birth control.

Depends: The common recommendation is for a first Pelvic exam within 6 mo of starting sexual activity or age 21.Whether you see an OBGYN or other primary care provider would depend on the type of services common in your area.Many Family docs/nurse practitioners handle routine things and refer you out for specialty issues.
