Trying for pregnancy: If you have normal 28-d cycles, your ovulation should have been around Mar 6-8 (but this is very variable in women), so having sex on the 7th was right on target for ovulation. A home urine pregnancy test can detect pregnancy with good accuracy as early as the first day of your expected/missed period, so you could test the day your period is due. If negative, retest in a week.

Home pregnancy test: is accurate for pregnancy at 2-3 weeks. I suggest taking one test this week and if cycle still not present, repeat in 1 week or see GYN for a definitive HCG blood test.
