Trauma?: If that is truly so then cool it with respect to those activities until you heal and tell your lover to be more gentle as well as more genteel with you!

A gentle "fix": Since I have not seen the swollen labia minora, I cannot say with certainty that intercourse caused it and will defer to the MD who did see it. Urgency and passion in intercourse activities quite commonly produce this type of injury, that a much more gentle approach can solve.
