Not necessarily.: Yeast infections under the stomach are usually a result of a large tummy that hangs down and creates a warm, moist space for yeast to thrive. On the other hand, wearing undies & changing them every day is good general hygiene.

Yeast infections: thrive in moist environments. If the region under your stomach is prone to sweating or moisture, then that can create an environment friendly to yeast. If cotton underwear keeps the area dry, then yes, underwear could help to reduce yeast. But as long as the area is dry and hygienic, underwear or lack thereof shouldn't much matter.

Make sure your clinician takes a vaginal culture to confirm that what you have are truly vaginal yeast infections; as there are several other conditions that can cause vaginal symptoms similar to yeast infections. Recurrent cysts in your vaginal area could be due to improper shaving, hormonal side-effects, or other conditions. If your clinician is not able to diagnose it, see a gyn specialist.
