This is my first time getting the depo shot after a few weeks of getting it i started bleeding does it mean i am able to get pregnant?

No Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone): can make you have irregular bleeding in the first few months of the injection. You may need another method of contraception (e.g. condoms) until your period completely goes away and stays away for 2-3 months in a row. Then you are protected from pregnancy.
