Is breast tenderness normal on depo provera (medroxyprogesterone)? when is depo totally effective to stop ovulation?

Not too common: Depoprovera contains only Progesterone. When breast tenderness is caused by hormones it is usually caused by Estrogen. Depoprovera is effective after two weeks or even earlier if given during or after the menstrual cycle.
