It takes time...: It takes a few days for oral fluconazole to clear up vaginal yeast infections. One or two days isn't long enough, and having sex probably irritated your still-infected vaginal area, making your yeast symptoms worse. Wait a few more days before having sex. If yeast symptoms like itching or irritation are continuing then, see your doctor about it.
