May not be related: Yes please see a doctor Your bloating and weight gain may have nothing to do with the birth control pill. Most women do not gain weight on the pill. studies show that the only contraception which causes weight gain is Depo-Provera. Please check pregnancy test if you haven't. Many many women become pregnant every year while taking the pill. Both IUDs & implant much more effective than pills
