Heals fast.: It is very difficult to injure vagina while shaving. However the mucosa on the outside area or the skin next to it can be injured. Mucosa heals in 3 - 4 days and skin 7 - 10 days. Application of neospiorin will help ease off burning by covering raw area and reduce chance of infection. Liquid benadryl (diphenhydramine) application also has been proven to reduce burning.
