You could have: poor libido, or like many men in the 40's, low sexual desire from lack of hormones. Sometimes it has to do with sexual performance as well, or could be from vaginal dryness or lack of sensitivity. Some people actually visit a sex therapist after they've been cleared by a physician from a medical cause. Either way it's time to get help from a professional :)

Lack of libido.: There are many causes of lack of desire (libido). First, make sure you have no physical reason, like early menopause or thyroid problems. If not, the treatment is complex, and may involve counseling to explore possible reasons. But since safe, good sex is a cheap and very satisfying source of joy and pleasure in our difficult world, it is well worth exploring any cause and finding a way to fix it
