Sure: Several sexually transmitted infections can be transmitted via kissing, even if one is not always kissing vulvas, vaginas, anuses, or penises. In order to catch an STI from one's partner, the partner must already have the STI (and generally in the location being kissed), because a person can't catch something from nothing.

Not really: Herpes type 1 is an infections disease that is very common. It is not general considered a STI. About 80-90% of people are carriers. HSV 1 causes typical cold sores.

Depends: There are at least a dozen diseases that might pass through sex or deep kissing. Some would require certain conditions before they could spread (phase of disease, open sores, bad dental condition) some would be quite stealth in transfer, some would be evident within a few days. Your saliva has some anti-germ activity that makes this an uncommon method of transfer, but it is possible.
