Vaginal dryness: Hi, Vaginal dryness can occur for many reasons including effects from certain contraceptives. You mentioned thyroid medication I assume for hypothyroid which is an autoimmune condition. There are other autoimmune conditions such as Sjogrens which cause decreased secretions throughout the body causing symptoms of dry eye, dry mucous membranes, vaginal dryness etc. This can be worked up by your pcp
