Can do a preg. test: Pregnancy is not likely to happen from sex on the 4th day of a period because that is too early in a woman's cycle (the egg is not ready yet). However, life is never exact, so women can be surprised sometimes. One can do a urine pregnancy test 3 weeks after sex, or 1 week after missing a regular period.
