A member asked:

How is this possible, if the sperm was ejaculated three days after ovulation, to cause pregnancy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: Pregnancy has been known to occur from sex on any day of the cycle. If you miss your period by 5-7 days, do a pregnancy test, if the result is negative repeat the test in 3-4 days. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine.
