Itis =Inflammation: If bacterial overgrowth Bactrim or cipro (ciprofloxacin) are effective treatments. Most likey your own bacteria are out of normal check and something has overgrown. Doesn't have to be a std causing it . Some times certain bacteria don't respond to certain antibiotics...don't be concerned if you have to try something different
