I have prostatitis no one wants to culture just give meds. take azitro & doxy for 30 days. all std neg. could std cause prostate infection but neg tst?

Itis =Inflammation: If bacterial overgrowth Bactrim or cipro (ciprofloxacin) are effective treatments. Most likey your own bacteria are out of normal check and something has overgrown. Doesn't have to be a std causing it . Some times certain bacteria don't respond to certain antibiotics...don't be concerned if you have to try something different
