A member asked:

Pap smear okay. positive for chlaymidia. i have a small red bump on opening of vagina what could this be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Vaginal bump: Red usually means inflamed. Several small glands near the orifice can become blocked and red/tender. HPV related disease can also cause red lesions on the vulva, even if the pap is negative. If it persists and is not painful, getting a biopsy might be needed. But topical treatment might be best first try..
