I had sex about a month ago and i have not gotten my period. but i have not gotten any of the symptoms of pregnancy, is it just that my period is late?

No assumptions: Always assume first depite a lack of symptoms that you could be pregnant and check a pregnancy test. It could be a missed period for a variety of reasons, but again don't make that assumption. This would be a good time to see a gynecologist to get on birth control too.
