More info: In general oral contraceptives suppress the formation of new ovarian functional cysts although they do not treat current ones. We would need to know what type of ovarian cyst you are referring to. If referring to polycystic ovaries and not a functional cyst then the conversation is quite different. Schedule a visit with an Obgyn to go over the various possibilities
