I take birth control pills, but the mri i had for my back found a ovarian cyst, why would a cyst form when the birth control pills do not ovulate me.

Although: follicular cysts are the most common type of benign ovarian cyst(and would be suppressed with OCPs), there are other types of cysts that aren't related to follicles or ovulation.

Not sure: It is not unusual for women to form cysts while on the pill. Might try a stronger formulation.
