Compared to allergic rhinitis, this condition has a later age of onset, prominent nasal congestion, and triggers including strong scents/odors, changes in weather, cleaning products, and cigarette smoke. Antihistamine nasal sprays like azelastine, sinus rinses, and chlorpheniramine are effective.
