Can it be possible that azithromycin did not work to clear chlamydia?

Possible: I usually recommend a test of cure a couple weeks after the medication is given. Women who threw up shortly after taking the dose may not get cured and other malabsorption issues may be an issue. However, the usual cause of failure is having sex with your partner and either they didn't take the medication or they get re infected.
