Does carbimazole effect the contraceptive pill cerezette.?

No: I can find no interaction between carbimazole and birth control pills. It is a prodrug and is metabolized to the active drug methimazole which also had on effect on birth control pills. It is important that you do use your contraceptives correctly since carbimazole can cause birth defects and should not be used in pregnancy or while breast feeding. Hope this helps.
