Withdrawal bleed: In order for you to have a "period," you actually have to take the birth control patch off. This means that you keep the birth control patch on weekly for three weeks and then on the 4th week where you expect a period, you don't put a patch on. By not having hormonal exposure, your body will have a period. You can also just keep a patch on every week and skip periods.
