Do glycerin suppositories dry out rectum increasing chance of anal tear?

Shouldn't: As long as the suppository is lubed, and inserted carefully, it shouldn't cause a tear. Doubt it will dry out the rectum either - it's very humid in there, with no exposure to ambient air. Hope this helps!
