ANAL FISSURE: It can occur if child is constipated or move bowels rapidly and causes pain on defecation. It heals rapidly without doing anything.

Constipated: First, you can apply vaseline to the anal area so that when he poops it will slide out more easily. Second, you want to increase fruit and vegetable in his diet and try to have him drink a lot of water. If he is still having trouble stooling, there is an over the counter medicine called MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) which helps with constipation. Speak to your child's doctor before starting the miralax (polyethylene glycol).
