Balanitis: Balanitis is usually caused by poor hygiene in uncircumcised men. Other possible causes include: diseases such as reactive arthritis and lichen sclerosis et atrophicus, infection, harsh soaps, not rinsing soap off properly while bathing, uncontrolled diabetes, trauma and irritation.
