Long lasting: The overall contour changes from a brazilian butt lift should be permanent as long as your weight stays stable. The buttock shape will also last for many years and might even be permanent if you maintain your weight. http://www.dassmd.com/brazilian-butt-lift/index.html.

Forever: When a bbl is done by an experienced bbl surgeon, the fat that survives the transfer should last forever. Usually 30% does not survive. Obviously, dramatic changes in weight in the future may affect the results. http://www.drschulmanplasticsurgery.com/body/brazilian-butt-lift-new-york-city/.

Permanent: Bbl or brazilian butt lift is a procedure consisting of liposuction and fat injections to the buttocks to enhance the contour and projection.

A lifetime: Fat that stably develops a blood supply will remain indefinitely, suffering only the normal aging process. Excessive dieting will reduce the results, but mild weight gain will enhance it. It is now your fat, the same as any other part of your body!
Dr. Ricardo Rodriguez

It Can Be Permanent: BBL success is highly dependent on surgical technique during fat extraction, processing, and reinjection. It is also important for the patient to follow the post-op restrictions to ensure success. When done correctly, fat grafts are permanent. When done incorrectly, they may not last and you may need a re-do. (http://www.cosmeticsurg.net/blog/2009/12/03/recipe-for-permanent-fat-injections/)

A 27-year-old member asked:

How long after the Brazilian butt lift does it take to heal? How long before you can sit on your butt?

About 2 weeks: Healing requires attention to the recipient as well as the donor sites. After any liposuction procedure, it generally takes about 3 months to see long term and stable results and resolution of tenderness. It is typically advised that you avoid sitting or sleeping directly on the grafted buttock sites for about 2 weeks.

What is cardio effect of Brazilian butt lift?

Sure: Any workout video that gets you moving and your heart pumping will be beneficial to you -- if you use them. That's the key. You should tone your gluteal muscles nicely, which will improve the shape of your buttocks and make you healthier. You might not get an augmentation however. For that see a surgeon experienced in that procedure. Dr. Fred coville- linwood, nj.
A male asked:

Can i designate the areas from which my fat is harvested for a butt lift? I am having a Brazilian butt lift, and would like to have the fat for the procedure taken from my midsection and waist. Will i be able to choose where my doctor takes the fat he inj

Do : Do not tell the plastic surgeon how to do plastic surgery. Consider a liposculpture of the entire torso and add the butt lift for a more beautiful figure. Trust the plastic surgeon and make sure he/she is a real board certified plastic surgeon.

Fat is nearly always harvested from the midsection and waitst during a Brazilian Butt Lift in order to achieve a nice result. So, you probably don't have to worry. However, make sure you discuss this with your surgeon.

The : The total cost of surgery at my practice, southern surgical arts, will include the surgeon's fee, anesthesia costs and the facility fee for the operating room. Some surgery centers bundle the price of the procedure into one total fee and others may only quote you their surgeon's fee so make sure you compare accordingly. Dr. Deal's average total charges for a brazilian butt lift is $9, 500-$10, 500.
A female asked:

Are the results from a Brazilian butt lift permanent? Will my results from a Brazilian butt lift be permanent, or will I have to have it redone eventually?

What : What we know is that even if fat cells do atrophy, as well they might, the adult stem cells which we inject do not. Even with a so called "permanent" silicone implant, the results will change over time, and skin will descend, along with further fat atrophy and muscle atrophy surrounding the implant. The risk of implant related problems are far greater than with fat transfer in the right hands. See bestplasticsurgerypractice.Com/logingallery.Html for five year follow up results.
