A member asked:

Why is it that tinea versicolor goes away with birth control?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not likely it was bc: Tinea versicolor is a fungal infetion that can come and go. It is not rare for it to relapse--and come back. Birth control pills won't treat it, so it is likely to have been coincidental.
