How to get a regular menstruation?

See your physician: This kind of question really needs a face to face evaluation with your family physician or gynecologist. Periods can be made to come on time with use of the birth control pill, but first you need to find out if there is some condition behind those irregular periods, such as thyroid disorders (very common) and irregularity around menopause, which may indicate a problem with the uterine lining.

Menses: Agree with Dr. Fein. There are a number of possible causes for irregular menstrual cycles. Your doctor can evaluate to rule in or rule out those causes. Reasons for irregularity include weight gain or loss, breastfeeding, alcohol use, eating disorders, marked emotional stress, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, cervical polyps, polycystic ovarian syndrome, excessive exercise & pregnancy.
