Consider hormones: When a woman has an irregular cycle, she might consider taking a combined estrogen/progesterone birth control pill. This is the most effective and simplest way to make it regular. For some women, the Progesterone iud can help as well. Make sure you're at a healthy weight, not too thin or too heavy as extremes of weight can affect cycle. Also consider checking your thryoid with your doctor!

Many ideas: The treatment for irregular periods depends on many things. You need a gyn check up, maybe bloodwork, and possibly some kind of at least temporary hormonal treatment. Minor irregularities need no treatment at all.
